Liquirizia Grappa Museum
Liquiriza is made by steeping a traditional grappa, made from the marc of several different grape varieties from the Veneto province, on fresh liquorice roots for three months. The aromas of the vinous grappa are blended with the spicy and vegetale of the liquorice roots, and the result is simply formidable. The light golden grappa offers a nose of freshly cut grass, cardamom and slightly sweet liquorice. The flavour is soft and round with a dry, fresh aftertaste of herbs and a touch of pipe tobacco.
