Drappier Champagne Rosé Brut Nature

Rosé Champagne without sulphur The Champagne house Drappier has produced the world's first Champagne entirely without sulphur. It is called Drappier Brut Nature Zéro Dosage Sans Souffre. It is therefore without sulphur but also without dosage, and unfiltered and made exclusively from Pinot Noir. It is a dry, acidic and elegant Champagne that can be used both as an aperitif, but is most at home with food. Maison Drappier has hired winemaker Guillaume Roffiaen, who previously worked with non-dosage and experimental cuvées at the Ayala Champagne House, but is now in the cellars at Drappier. Roffiaen is behind the exciting news. The champagne is an assemblage, i.e. a blend of barrels from the 2002, 2003 and 2004 vintages.
