Mirtillo Liquore Museum alla Grappa Poli

Mirtillo is a blueberry liqueur. It is made by adding freshly squeezed blueberry juice to a traditional grappa, made from the marc of several different grape varieties from the Veneto province. The blueberries of the Veneto province are small and sweet, and very rich in flavour. The local blueberries are even believed to be extremely beneficial for health, among other things, they are said to help eyesight. In fact, the berries have enjoyed such a high reputation that a good dose of Veneto blueberries used to be included in every Italian pilot's diet. Polis blueberry liqueur offers a clean, unmistakable aroma of sweet blueberries. The flavour is round and slightly sweet, again dominated by blueberries with a hint of violet in the aftertaste.
