2017 Château Ferran Blanc Pessac Léognan

Château Ferran is located in the world-famous Pessac-Léognan, with famous neighbours like Haut-Brion and Pape-Clément, and was once owned by the famous writer and philosopher Montesquieu. Today it belongs to the Beraud-Sudreau family who have owned the château for 5 generations. The vines grow in a soil consisting mainly of limestone, clay and gravel. The family has invested heavily in the cellar and with the help of the talented oenologist Christophe Ollivier, they have succeeded in making high-class wines. The wine consists of an aromatic blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, which always shows great freshness with a counterplay from the deep fruit and creamy finish.
