Château Pichon-Longueville-Comtesse-de-Lalande, commonly known as Pichon Comtesse, is the neighbour of Château Latour. The estate is counted among the Médoc's so-called superseconds, i.e. châteaux that should really be classified as Premier Cru . Like all the other top châteaux, Château Pichon-Longueville-Comtesse-de-Lalande makes a second wine from the grapes of the estate's younger vines.
