2016 Château Plincette Pomerol

A small château in Pomerol, with just 2 hectares and a production of only 1000 cases per year, must be said to belong among the rare finds. It's an incredibly soft and very distinctive Pomerol, with a warm and inviting bouquet of ripe fruit, a hint of orange and a marked touch of barrel ageing. The flavour has a very soft and full-bodied structure, where the ripe fruit harmonises with the round tannins in the beautiful, elegant Pomerol style.
