2016 Château Haut-Bages Libéral 5. Cru Pauillac

Since the late 80s, the château has been among the best in Pauillac. Château Haut-Bages Liberal is often a bit underrated which has made the wine an excellent buy. The vineyards border directly on Château Latour, but you certainly don't pay for that. The wine has a dense and concentrated bouquet of red fruits, slightly smoked oak, an impressively full-bodied structure, ripe fruit and tannin in full harmony in the long aftertaste.
