2016 Chardonnay Alto Adige Cantina Terlan

Harvested grapes are fermented slowly before the wine is aged for 5-7 months "sur lie" (on the lees) for additional aromatic complexity. The aroma releases exotic notes of quince, passion fruit, mango, melon and banana, as well as hints of lemon balm. The wine is very soft and harmonious in the mouth with pear and slightly sweet exotic fruit. A well-balanced acidity and a mineral touch give the wine an exciting contrast.
