2015 Sauvignon Blanc Südsteiermark Sattlerhof

The grapes come from vines growing on very steep slopes with perfect sun exposure. The vineyards are all under conversion to organic viticulture and the grapes are harvested by hand. The wine is gently fermented in steel tanks before being aged on the lees for 4-5 months, which adds complexity and rounds out the wine. The wine has a clean and cool aroma of yellow pepper, fresh green pear and elderflowers. The wine is delightfully crisp and refreshing in the flavour with a well-balanced acidity and notes of citrus fruit. An extremely well-balanced, fresh and easy-drinking wine.
