    Trockenbeerenauslese no. 8 Muskat Ottonel, Zwischen den Seen Prestige cuvée from Austria's answer to Yquèm. The wine has a powerful dark golden colour, an engaging bouquet with hints of mandarines and yellow gooseberries. The flavour is full of extremely ripe yellow, exotic fruits with hints of apricot and minerals. Perfect harmony between fruit acidity and sweetness.

    Aged in stainless steel for 18 months, the 2015 Trockenbeerenauslese No 8 Muskat Ottonel Zwischen den Seen jumps out of the glass, so clear and aromatic are the aromas, which are so authentic and precise, plus this perfect nutmeg aroma. On the palate, this is the quintessence of Muscat Ottonel- highly elegant and refined with an aromatic expression of spicy Muscat fruit that could not be be more clear and perfect in nature. This is just gorgeous and one of the finest Muskat Ottonels I have ever tasted. It's all about fruit and elegance here, and although the acidity is analytically low (5.9 grams of total acidity), this is a vivacious and greatly balanced TBA. 2018 - 2045 .
