    The Fat of the Land wines demonstrate the diversity of Barossa's best sub-regions. Fat of the Land Greenock is made from grapes from Shawn's Vineyard in the Greenock region of north-west Barossa. The vineyard is 245 metres above sea level and has a clay and limestone soil that produces powerfully structured wines. The aroma of the wine offers intense nuances of cherry and cherry stone. The flavour is intense and very powerful with a mighty tannin structure that will ensure the wine has excellent ageing characteristics. Matt Gant says of this wine; "Built for ageing not for speed, have another look at this sleeper in 8 to 10 years time."

    Deep, inky crimson. Aromatic and spicy, with masses of sweet black fruit and chocolate, on the nose and the palate. Big and dense but not heavy. Full-bodied, deep and powerful. Powerful tannins coated in sweet dark fruit and chocolate, then spice again on the finish. There's a very slight balsamic note here and definitely more complexity to come though it is massive with sweet, dark-fruited pleasure already. The tannins are deep and rounded and the finish is really long and enveloping.
