Dindarello
Maculan produces three dessert wines that all rank among Italy's best; Acininobili, Torcolato and Dindarello. The first two are celebrated "cult wines", made only in microscopic quantities. The latter, Dindarello, is produced in slightly larger quantities (about 1000 cases per year), but the quality of the wine is at least as unique as the house's other two sweet wines. Dindarello is made from 100% Moscato (Muscat) which is harvested when the grapes are overripe and almost raisin-like. The sparkling golden wine offers bright notes of heather, violet and raisin. The flavour is velvety on the tongue and is endowed with an artful balance between sweetness and freshness.
