2015 Clos Floridène rouge Graves

Married couple FLORence and DENis Dubourdieu have named their château by merging their first names. Denis Dubourdieu is known as one of France's most accomplished winemakers and he excels in making expressive, crisp and harmonious wines. The vineyard is cultivated according to organic principles and the fields are worked with horse plough. The Dubourdieu couple have also invested heavily in the cellar, and have managed to create a state-of-the-art vineyard, as well as retaining the tradition and history. Clos Floridenne Rouge is a "modern" Graves wine. It reflects the essence of Graves, with its rich fruit and great concentration. The tannins are silky smooth and the wine finishes with a mineral touch.
