Chinon Blanc Les Champ-Chenin
This is a single vineyard with a terroir consisting mostly of chalk and some clay, which gives the wine a nice minerality. Chenin Blanc used to be called "Pineau de Loire" in this area. The wine is vinified in steel tanks and has a fine light yellow colour, a lovely bouquet of citrus and some exotic fruits. The flavour is very fresh and lively, which will become more velvety after a year, with a fine acidity and a mineral finish.
