Bandol Blanc
The white grapes grow on the cooler north-facing slopes with a very rare and interesting soil of blue marl. Here the grapes ripen slowly and develop a unique finesse. The vines give a very low yield (under 30 hl/ha) of grapes harvested by hand and after fermentation, aged in tanks plus a small proportion in oak barrels for added complexity. Distinct citrus aroma with hints of apples and candied fruits. Lots of freshness, minerality and finesse, as well as round fullness and vanilla spice from the small proportion of barrel aged wine. Rare, beautifully balanced and complex white wine from Bandol.
