2015 Château Croix de Labrie Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Magnum

Château Croix de Labrie is characterised by its incredible intensity and purity, as well as an exceptional richness of flavour. A maximum of 3000 bottles are made of this microcuvée, all grapes are hand-harvested and placed in small baskets to protect the grapes before pressing. The wine is considered a collector's item and the quality is on a par with more famous wines such as Ausone, Angelus, La Mondotte, Pavie, Valandraud, Cheval Blanc. The wine has a compact, dark colour, the bouquet is intense and bursting with blackcurrant and ripe fruit, the flavour is incredibly powerful and rich and silky smooth with cascades of rounded tannins, finishing with a surprising freshness.
