Chambolle-Musigny går for at lave nogle af de mest elegante og "feminine" Bourgognevine, stilen kan siges at være midt i mellem Vosne- Romanée og Gevrey-Chambertin, dvs. at her forenes både finesse og power. Denne vinmark består af meget gamle vinstokke, Gilbert og Christine ved ikke præcis hvor gamle. Vinen har en elegant frugtig bouquet af frisk, rød Pinot frugt med antydning af solbær, en fint struktureret fylde med et touch af vanille. Fin, superelegant afslutning med et touch af mineralitet. 90-93P - Bourghound Issue 69:" (from yields of 25 hl/ha and 35% whole cluster). Reduction currently dominates the nose but there is excellent intensity, freshness and concentration to the muscular medium weight plus flavors that offer very fine depth and persistence on the more obviously structured and borderline rustic finish.
