2015 Carruades de Château Lafite-Rothschild Pauillac

Made according to the same perfectionist principles as the Premier Cru wine at Lafite-Rothschild. Only 40% of the harvest went to Lafte-Rothschild, the rest was used for their fabulous second wine Carruades de Château Lafite-Rothschild, which over the years has become better and better. It is a very traditional Pauillac that combines the very full-bodied and elegant character of Pauillac, where you feel the rush of "Le Grand Vin"! The wine combines a fantastic fullness and concentration, with a very fruity character. The bouquet offers very ripe berries, some oak, as well as some vanilla and cocoa. The wine has a rich structure, with depth and lots of lovely tannins and ripe fruit, and rounds off with a very long aftertaste.
