2015 Capficat Sant Sadurni d´Anoia Cell. Credo Recaredo

The vine is an impressive plant in many ways, for example, if you bend one of its branches down to the ground and bury the top, a whole new vine will grow up next to the original. This branch is called 'Capficat' in Spanish. Celler Credo has chosen to name this wine after one of the more slow but also most simple and natural ways of creating new vines. And the name reflects that this wine is made with an absolute minimum of intervention by the winemaker on organically and biodynamically grown grapes with no added sulphur. The wine is gently fermented in old oak barrels and bottled without filtration to retain all its nuances, so a little natural sediment may occur. The result is an incredibly pure and beautiful expression of the superb terroir and the high quality of the grapes.
