    Muncagota

    The Muncagotta vineyard was formerly called Mocagatta. The vineyard produces one of Produttori del Barbaresco's lightest wines. Interestingly, Muncagotta is directly adjacent to the Rabajá vineyard, which produces one of the most powerful wines in the district. The difference is due to the fact that the Muncagotta vineyard is somewhat cooler than the very hot Rabajá. Barbaresco Riserva Muncagotta is characterised by a remarkable floral aroma and a welcoming flavour.

    He 2014 Barbaresco Riserva Muncagota is beautifully polished and bright, with dark berry fruit, ripe cherry, crushed stone and pressed flowers. The wine is compact and firm, and you feel the tannins and power in the mouth. The Muncagota remains slightly more closed in terms of the bouquet, but this will open up with some time. 2022 - 4045.
