    Brunello di Montalcino JACOPUS

    The grapes for Jacopus come from Lavacchio, Montosoli and Pietrafocai, which are among the absolute best vineyards in Montalcino. The wine is barrel aged for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels and then bottle-aged for 12 months (it is compulsory to bottle age for at least 4 months). The wine has a nice velvety red colour. The bouquet is full of aromas of ripe fruit and a touch of vanilla and slightly roasted mocha, the flavour is full-bodied with a long aftertaste. A superbly smooth and rounded Brunello.
