    Pelago Marche Rosso

    Pelago is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Montepulciano and Merlot from Umani Ronchi's best vineyards near the town of Osimo. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 14 months followed by a final bottle ageing of 12 months to further round off the wine. The result is a juicy, intense and complex red wine that is full-bodied in flavour, round and long in the aftertaste with distinct aromas of fresh tobacco from the Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as spicy and warm notes from the barrel ageing. The flavours are a wide range of blackcurrant, cherry, vanilla and subtle wood, etc.
