    Boekenhoutskloof Semillon Franschhoek

    Marc Kent makes a legendary dry white wine from Semillon, which he harvests from 45-, 60- and 100-year-old vines in the Franschhoek Valley. The wine is fermented and aged in barriques from the finest French barrel makers, and bottled unfiltered. The wine offers complexly composed nuances of ripe citrus fruit, nuts, beeswax and a touch of vanilla. The flavour is generous and extremely long. A fantastic white wine that calls for quiet contemplation and will be a world-class companion to good hard cheeses.
