There is a pretty, perfumed, musky note to this wine with hints of purple flowers, game and light hummus ensheathing the core of sexy red-cherry and spicy plum. Spacious and silky on the palate with a sense of airness and complexity. Some cranberry high notes creep in and the mineral acid line drives along through a curtain of chalky, ripe tannins. Superb drinking. Drink in 2015.

Pale to medium ruby-purple-colored, the 2011 Pinot Noir offers pronounced notes of red cherries, black raspberries and red currants with suggestions of underbrush, violets and cinnamon stick. Medium-bodied with plenty of mouth-filling red berry and earthy flavors, a medium level of fine- grained tannins and vibrant acid, it finishes with very good length and finesse. Drink it now to 2017+.

Not only does this wine show off some attractive floral notes, it also delivers that supple texture so desired in Pinot Noir. Mocha, herb and black cherry notes all make appearances, but the fruit dominates, gliding into a long, silky finish. Drink now-2017.
