    Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Trois Sources

    The 2010 vintage was the first of this new Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Vieille Julienne. Owner Jean-Paul Daumen does not rest on his laurels, and has with 2 new wines in 2010 vintages, he wanted to give particular focus to the very special terroirs on the domaine's famous soils. This wine comes mainly from vineyards with limestone and chalky subsoil and only 6000 bottles were made. The wine has a dark purple colour with a bouquet brimming with black fruit and hints of anise, garrigue and blueberry. It is a very pure and complex wine, yet unmistakably elegant and well-balanced, like the other great wines from Vieille Julienne.
