    The Pora vineyard has a very sandy soil. It makes the wine remarkably soft and very approachable when young. Barbaresco Pora Riserva does not possess quite the same elegance and ageing potential as other Barbaresco wines, but on the other hand, its charm surpasses all other wines in the district.
