2007 Ferrari Riserva Lunelli Trentodoc

A prestige cuvée made from strictly selected hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes from vineyards on the hillsides around the Lunelli family's Villa Margon vineyard. The wine is aged in oak barrels before a second fermentation in the bottle, which gives more layers of complexity and greater structure. After 7 years of bottle ageing on the lees, the result is a wine with a very rich, fruity and complex aroma with notes of flowers, creamy citrus and pineapple with hints of honey, hazelnut and rosemary. Citrus and exotic fruit recur in the flavour with notes of toast and hints of yeast and spice. Full-bodied, structured and intense wine with deliciously balancing fresh acidity and mineral notes on the long finish.
