2007 Chateau Gressier Grand Poujeaux Moulis

The current owner, Céline Villars, took over in 2000, and comes from the same family that owns a string of châteaux in Bordeaux: Château Gruaud-Larose second growth Saint-Julien, Château Camensac fifth growth haut-Médoc, Château Ferriére third growth Margaux, Château Citran Haut-Médoc, Château La Gurgue Margaux and Château Chasse-Spleen. Château Gressier Grand Poujeaux is recognised as one of the classic châteaux that produces fine, traditional Bordeaux at an extremely reasonable price. A fine mature bouquet of black berries and a little mocha, well structured and with fine fruit, an excellent food wine.
