1989 Château La Cabanne Pomerol

This small, well-reputed château of just 10 hectares is located in the heart of Pomerol, not far from the magnificent Trotanoy. The château is managed by Jean-Pierre Estager who also manages Ch. Haut-Maillet in Pomerol. La Cabanne is a very classic Pomerol, powerful, with very full and soft structure with great depth of flavour and a seductive elegance. A very classic Pomerol, with a very ripe and concentrated fruity bouquet with red berries and oak, liquorice and vanilla. Fantastic harmony with good fruit and tannin balance, creating a delicious velvety and supple structure and an incredible depth to the wine. Deliciously full and round, with lots of fruit in the very long aftertaste.
