    Robert Parker kalder Guigal for "Mr Condrieu". Ved at høste udbytter helt ned til en tredjedel af det tilladte, har Guigal på få år revolutioneret fremstillingen af Condrieu, som ellers en overgang var på nippet til at forsvinde helt. Guigal råder idag over hele 40% af markerne i Condrieu, og hans resultater bliver ved med at forbløffe år efter år. Guigals klassiske Condrieu fremstår lys gylden i glasset. Duften byder på fine nuancer af abrikos og honningmelon, og smagen er ekstremt harmonisk og velafbalanceret. En kompleks hvidvin med mesterlig ynde og detalje.

    Just bottled in June of this year, the 2013 Condrieu is tighter, more focused and reserved than the 2012. It offers pretty notes of tangerine, mint, citrus blossom and crushed rock to go with a medium-bodied, fresh, focused style on the palate. It will be better in another year and have 2-4 years of longevity.
